Skye Doherty is an artist and design researcher. Her current work is inspired by the wet sclerophyll forests of Mount Glorious and the impact of environmental change. The process of mark-making is central to her practice, which explores the tonal and expressive qualities of ink. She combines wet-on-wet painting techniques with drawing, rubbing, and stitching to create original, mixed-media works on paper.
She has studied at the Brisbane Institute of Art since 2017.
