Shavarnia is a multi-award winning artist of many years. Her work is inspired by nature in the form of micro, macro, aerial and satellite. Her observation of the world from these perspectives inspires her through the intricacies, beauty and perfection she finds within all things.
Her focus and use of fragmental vision offers a surprising yet deeply understood view of the ordinary. She predominantly works in acrylics, crayons and inks. Her work can also include found objects, luscious papers and gold leaf creating an atmosphere that has a penetrating and alluring quality.
