Rose has worked in a wide range of media, including leadlight, quilting and fibre art, and silver-smithing. A love of textiles and 15 years as a quilt maker, teacher and author has led to her passion for polymer clay, a medium that offers endless possibilities for creativity in terms of colour and surface design.
Many of her pieces use the technique of Mokume Gane, originally used in Japanese knife making, which involves layers of colour manipulated and textured to form complex original patterns which are both unique and unrepeatable.
