fibre art
Lee-Ann (Lee) discovered fibre in 2021, but it wasn’t until 2023, after a diagnosis that affects her hands, that she decided to lean into her art.
Driven by a desire to move through life engaging her senses, she is inspired by the organic rhythm and movement in nature. Fibre art allows her to be receptive and present; holding space for her to make sense of the world.
Lee hopes her work elicits feelings of the essence of nature. She is currently exploring and creating using a variety of paper yarns, twines, and strings.
