Helen’s medium of choice is fabric, thread and fabric paint brought together with Free Motion Quilting on her domestic sewing machine.
She started 25 years ago with a background in lead-lighting and making patchwork quilts for family and friends. More recently she has participated in workshops with international quilters, and last year added teaching Free Motion Quilting Workshops to her creative repertoire.
Her inspiration is drawn from the magical rainforest and local wildlife on Mt Glorious and her work has won awards both locally and nationally and has been published in 2 Australian Quilting Magazines.
